The cost of building materials may still be skyrocketing and summer may feel like a glimpse before it’s gone. That doesn’t mean you can’t make some updates at home or your business! At Del Zotto Precast Concrete, we’re here to help make your projects come to life. All of our materials are made of precast concrete, which means they stand the test of time for years to come. Plus, as the cost of other construction materials continue to rise, there’s no better time to complete your summer projects — with precast concrete products — than right now! Here’s some of our top recommendations.

Parking Curbs

The hot Texas sun is hard on things your parking lot may be in need of some repair. Or maybe it’s time for some landscaping. Either way, your customer sees your parking curbs first when they pull up to your business — not your flower garden or shrubs.

One thing parking curbs can do that flowers can’t is keep your business safe. You don’t have to worry about accidental building damage, or damage to other vehicles in your parking lot. You also don’t have to worry about someone driving through your property with a parking stop there for protection.

Our parking curbs are easy to install, so this project won’t take up the rest of your summer.

Added bonus: Our parking curbs can be ordered individually or by the numbers. So you can refresh one or a few at a time, or refresh your whole parking lot. Whether you pick them up at our facility or have them delivered, we’re here to help!

Storm Shelters

Even if the “prime” season for tornadoes ended after June, every Texan knows a Texas twister can hit at any time. Besides, other heavy storms may also cause the need to take shelter, and even if we steer clear of any severe weather this year, we believe in always being prepared.

This is why there’s no time like the present to order a storm shelter whether at home, or at your business. Our above-ground storm shelters measure 83” tall by 64” wide by 80” deep. Its

door dimensions measure 32” Wide x 74” Tall. If you’re purchasing an underground storm shelter, it will measure 80” tall by 142” long by 64” wide. An underground storm shelter’s doors measure 24” wide by 42” tall.

Underground or above-ground, we can guarantee your storm shelter will come equipped with a steel door, child-proof lock, and will meet the most stringent standards. All of our precast concrete shelters are reinforced with steel, and independently tested by Texas Tech. We can provide experienced installation, or you can pick up your shelter at any location. Just remember, you dig, Del Zotto delivers!

Added bonus: A team member can come visit you onsite and help you decide where a storm shelter would best fit. All storm shelters include bench seating!

Reinforced Concrete Pipe

If you’re always experiencing runoff outside your home or business, now is the time to solve the issue.

Did you know that reinforced concrete pipe is the strongest kind of pipe you can purchase? This is because it’s not only more durable, but more structurally sound. Our reinforced concrete pipe ranges in sizes from 12 inches to 72 inches. We also offer custom bend and fitting sections!

With reinforced concrete pipe, most of your required strength is already built in. This means you have to depend even less on the installation to create that strength.

Did you know that the Army Corp of Engineers recommends precast concrete pipe for a lifespan of 70 to 100 years? Needless to say, you wouldn’t be calling us to replace your underground pipe for quite a long time.

We also offer reinforced concrete pipe or culverts for applications such as sanitation systems and storm sewers, so our capabilities go beyond home and business projects, and allow us to help with major projects and bids!

Added bonus: Since expanding our pipe and box culvert manufacturing facility earlier this year, our production capabilities have improved and increased!
